I visti sono arrivati, non quelli per le aree protette ovviamente che faremo là.
Cosa posso dire? E' questo il bello del viaggio: non sapere cosa succederà....
Comunque siamo andati a mangiare una pizza con Ezio ed Emilia che sono davvero in gamba. Rimarremo in contatto fino alla partenza e poi vedremo quando siamo là.

Any way, we went out with Ezio and Emilia for a pizza, really smart people. We will stay in touch till their departure and after we will see when we leave too.

Siamo ancora qui.....soffro....
Ultimo passo: stiamo aspettando i visti. Ci stiamo informando anche per fare quelli per le aree protette (ma non credo che sia possibile farli da qui).
Nuovi amici: Ezio e Emilia che ci hanno contattato dal web, di Bologna. Loro partiranno alla fine di luglio per cui probabilmente ci incontreremo a Leh.
Ansia, voglia di partire, a volte una strana sensazione di pace....

Still here......I suffer....
Last step: we are waiting for the Visa. We ask also for the restricted areas but I don't think is possible to obtain them from the Consulate.
New friends: Ezio and Emilia that e-mailed me from Bologna too. They will leave at the end of July and probably we'll meet them in Leh.
Anxiety, urge to leave, sometimes a strange peaceful feeling....

Aprile 2006

Finalmente ho i biglietti in mano!!! E alla fine sono costati anche un pò meno: 837 euro Bologna-Francoforte-Delhi e 135 euro per il Delhi-Leh.
La prossima settimana portiamo a Barbara i passaporti per fare il visto e quindi siamo a buon punto.... Adesso provo a riprendere contattto con il Dreamland e speriamo che tutto vada bene. Più che altro sarà duro il rientro a Delhi l'ultima settimana, ma se iniziamo subito appena arrivati a Leh ad organizzare ce la dovremmo fare... E poi se rimaniamo bloccati là a me non dispiacerebbe certo!!!
Mauro come al solito sta organizzando i bagagli e quello che ci dobbiamo portare dietro, io penserò alla farmacia.
Mancano poco più di 3 mesi....... Joolay, joolay!!!!!

Finally I have my tickets! In the end they're costed less than expected: 837 euro Bologna-Frankfurt-Delhi and 135 euro for the Delhi-Leh.
Next week we'll bring the passports to Barbara to make Visa and this is a good point...Now I try to write again at the Dreamland Hotel and hope that everything is all right. The worst thing will be the return to Delhi the last week, but if we will be able to organize the journey the first days of our arrival in Leh I think that everything will be fine. Mauro as usual organize the backpacks and all the stuffs (electricity, security,etc)me thinking about the pharmacy.
A little bit more of 3 months left.......Joolay, joolay!!!!!!!!

Marzo 2006

E' arrivato anche Marzo.
Ho ricominciato a lavorare e sto molto meglio. Ho confermato a Barbara i biglietti della Lufthansa ed abbiamo anche deciso per una settimana in più (ritorneremo l'1 settembre).
Barbara ha già la conferma e gli abbiamo dato l'ok per l'emissione, Mauro andrà a prenderli la settimana prossima.
I nostri biglietti ci aspettano e la preparazone del viaggio è la mia priorità.

March is here.
Started a new job and now I feel better. I confirmed Lufthansa tickets to Barbara and we decided for one more week (return date will be the first of September).
Next week Mauro will get the tickets from the travel agency.
We have the tickets and my priority is the preparation of the journey.

Facciamo il conto alla rovescia mese dopo mese....

Ieri sono andata in agenzia per fermare i voli: non avendo ancora le date ben precise ho preso il volo Lufthansa+ volo interno per Leh A/R dal 6 agosto al 27 agosto (1285 €) ed il volo Alitalia+volo solo andata per Leh dal 1 agosto al 30 agosto (1180 €).

Chi vivrà vedrà.......

Just start the countdown....month after month...
Yesterday I went to the travel agency to book the flights: I haven't got the exact dates now so we have Lufthansa+domestic flight A/R to Leh from 6th August to 27th August (1285€) or the Alitalia+domestic flight to Leh from 1st August to 30th August (1180€).

We will see.....
